Story
A group of young space colonists come face-to-face with the most terrifying form of life in space while scavenging the depths of an abandoned space station. therefore, the actors always worked against the physical representation of the xenomorph. Director Fede Alvarez hired the special effects team from Alien 2 (1986) to work on these creatures. Physical sets, practical creatures and miniatures were used wherever possible to facilitate further work on visual effects. When Rein disables the ship’s gravity and shoots all the aliens, all their blood floats in the air in long, blurry patterns.

. Weightlessness in real life causes liquids to take a spherical shape, and not spread out into long flat pieces, as in the film. Andy: The solution for a claustrophobic astronaut is to give him more space. The fanfare of the 20th century studios fades and changes ominously, as in “Alien 3” (1992), which leads to the first scene of the film. Death of Theaters – Present BBC @MauLer @HeelvsBabyface (2024)
Theme from the movie “Alien” by Jerry Goldsmith. I had high hopes for this performance, and what can I say: after the first performance, I returned to the theater again because I couldn’t wait to see it a second time. Remember, we always wondered if the action of “Alien” and “Blade Runner” take place in the same universe? The world building was so well done and engaging that I was almost disappointed when 30 minutes later I remembered that I was supposed to watch an alien movie. Almost.
Because the rest is very good
Masterfully built characters in relation to each other and against the background of what is happening. I also like how the film combines ALL 6 films that came before it, thematically and traditionally (each one has its own twist, and if it’s done on purpose, I’m a good candy fan) while doing it on its own. Because this is Fede Alvarez’s film, as fresh and dynamic as his other films. After all, you just need to see the beginning: as soon as the computer lights up, you know where you are, and you know that it will be as attentive and familiar as possible. True, there are liberties with the lore, and some will argue with reason, but personally I can forgive the cuts, since they serve the pace (and in any case, each film has its own specific xenomorphs).
No downtime, always something happening
It meets all the requirements, but it is also unique and special. It was worth the wait. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are the stuff of science fiction.
