This will mark the third attempt at a television series based on the world of Okrutne namjere (1999)
Story
After a hazing episode at their elite college, half-siblings Caroline and Lucien decide to preserve their power and reputation by seducing the daughter of the Vice President of the United States.. The direct-to-video sequel Okrutne namjere 2 (2000), starring Amy Adams replacing Sarah Michelle Gellar as Kathryn Merteuil, was originally a scripted TV series before being re-edited into a feature film.

Gellar would later reprise her role as Kathryn in 2016 for the NBC pilot Cruel Intentions (2016), which was not ordered to series.. Where did you find these actors and why are you looking to remake this iconic film again!
I don’t think so
Do you really think any of these people could play these parts better or even remotely as good as Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, Reese Witherspoon or Slema Blair? I guess for kids these days who aren’t used to seeing really good acting, that might be a good thing, but it’s not.
They just cut it
I’m sorry, but I think this third attempt should be my last, I just can’t do it. I don’t know where these young actors come from, but they’re not being coached by the people who trained the older cast.

I’m sorry, maybe it’s because I’m older and grew up with the best. The new ones are few and far between.
