Michael Schur inspired the creation of "A Man On the Inside" after the Chilean documentary "The Mole Agent" viewing
Story
Charles, a pensioner, gets a new lease of life when he answers an ad for a private detective and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. He says, "Mole agent" the documentary is powerful because it makes people of any age, ethnicity, or gender feel something very similar, and I would describe that feeling in a very reductive way as, “I need to call my mom.” In our show, we tried to do a similar thing with the tone: Does our show make us want to call our moms?
Remake of El agente topo (2020)
Liked it! What I expected was a comedy full of clichés about someone in hiding, his crazy antics & so on.
However, it wasn’t serious about making you feel depressed or bored while enjoying the episodes, it kept you watching the series
Instead, we get a series about a man who not only helped others, but also helped himself heal after losing his wife. This great series wasn’t full of cheesy laughs and laughs; weird lines, I felt really emotional in some parts because of the themes that were dealt with – like the resident with memory problems.
Who stole etc
worthy because you wanted to see how it went. The casting of the featurette was excellent, the cinematography & the locations are well done.
