Mark leads a team of office workers whose memories have been surgically divided into work and personal lives. When a mysterious colleague shows up while he’s not working, he embarks on a journey to discover the truth about his job. This is normal for the terminals in the Data General Dasher D2 series, which seem to be.
Ben Stiller directed it personally
Late Night with Seth Meyers: Ben Stiller / Rose Matafeo / Brooke Colucci (2022). Edit* Episode 9 S1 is one of the best TV episodes I’ve seen from a series that still tells a story, but shines much brighter. And he deserves awards and recognition for it.
Only two episodes have been released
So that’s a very short one for now, and I’ll give a full review at the end of the series. I’ll spoil everything because I went in blind before watching the plot. As far as actors/directors go, Stiller is still one of the few unique Hollyweird filmmakers who can pull off great actors and have a decent budget.
It’s its own universe
This series is unlike any other on the air and has great potential to be considered one of the greatest irreverent dark comedy series of all time. I can’t wait for the world to build. Just give this one a chance, it’s not political or real-world influenced yet.
