Story
Follows a group of military superhumans consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, a Frankenstein’s monster, and a gorgon. Gunn then helmed the project himself when he became CEO of DC Studios. Series writer and creator James Gunn appears in the opening credits with a laptop writing the script.

. Appeared in AniMat’s Crazy Comic: The Return of the King (of the Hill) (2023). Based on the commercial for this series, I was very excited to see DC have a bunch of monsters on one team.
This needs to be 14-24 for one season
After watching two episodes, I feel quite confused, far too rushed when I don’t get a clear story. There is action, but some of the characters’ voices seem quite dull. I’m not happy that there are 7 episodes in one season.
What’s next, one episode per season?
I like the idea of the team, but I want to get a better understanding so I can feel committed to the characters but not feel rushed and lost in the show. Reading the comics is one thing, but the main problem with DC is they don’t let you enjoy the characters enough to understand what they’re going through in the series or the movies. I hope they make season 2 better and I’ll keep watching this show.
