A horror webcomic crew heads to an abandoned mental institution for a live broadcast. They soon encounter much more than expected as they venture deeper into the creepy old building. The filmmakers were unable to obtain permission from the South Korean government to film in an actual hospital, so the scenes in the film set in Gonjiam were filmed at the National Maritime High School in Busan, with the production team sticking closely to the hospital floor plan to recreate the exact same exterior and hallways. Charlotte constantly looks to the side when the group is in front of the hospital. It is obvious that she is reacting by smiling at someone she is not. References Return to Home on Haunted Hill (2007). If you are a fan of scary B-movies, the scares in the second half are incredible. I really hate the blackout/distortion effects in the film. I enjoyed watching it as it all unfolded.
