A group of supervillains are being recruited to carry out government missions.. Steven Young was originally cast as Robert Reynolds/Temporary. But after filming was delayed due to the SAG-AFTRA strike (2023), he dropped out due to scheduling conflicts and was later replaced by Lewis Pullman.
